Hi, First time on here and i would value your advice on a spec. I currently have a dell 8300 and have discovered recently that upgrading these is impossable, so time to purchase some goddies. i havent built a pc for about 6 years and have spent the past 2 months researching and have found this forum invaluable. My spec is below but to give you some info i will be using this mainly for video editing and dvd production, i dont play games at all and my buget is about £750. I will be using dvd/cd roms from dell as well as hard drive+soundblaster. My existing hard drives are sata.

Intell e6600 cpu
asus p5b delux
2 gb corsair 6400 ddr2
sapphire x 1600 pro 256mb
enermax liberty 400w psu
thermaltake sorprano case
western digital 250 gb 16mb cach h/drive

I am really unshure with regards to motherboard. It is either this one or the p5w64. all advice greatly appreciated. :)

will you be overclocking?

i take it that case is personal choice? i.e. u like the look of it?

to be safe id get a 500w psu

come back to me with the above :) so i can suggest accordingly

Just bought an put together my new rig (see sig) Do bare in mind the p5b deluxe does like to give off dodgy temperature readings like mine does! GRRRRRRRRRRRR

all seems good to me though! although i would agree about the psu!

Thanks for the replies, as for overclocking i will be doing a bit but dont want to push it too far. The case is a personal choice but i took into consideration the fans and cooling for this case. Any sugestions however would be appreciated. :) Any views on mobo.
