Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 G0

2 X Crucial DDR2 BallistiX PC5300 2048MB CL3 ,Kit w/two matched BallistiX 128Megx64

EVGA GeForce 8800GTS KO ACS3 640MB GDDR3 , HDCP, PCI-Express, 2xDVI-I, 320bit

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 500GB SATA2 16MB 7200RPM

Corsair Powersupply 620W Black, ATX/EPS, 120mm Fan, 8xSATA, SLI, WxHxL 150x86x150

Plextor PX-810SA, SATA, 18x, 10x Dual, DVD-RAM, Black

Microsoft Habu Laser Gaming Mouse, USB, Windows XP/Vista

Opinions?

I am basically building nigh on the same system m8, but have gone for a GTX & a raptor, too be honest I only had enough for a GTS until I purchased a GTX from the for sale section, might be worth a thought

Also at £117 for the Asus Striker Extreme in OCUK B Grade you cant go far wrong

But that will be one kick a$$ system either way

have a look at the Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB 5000AAKS SATA-II 16MB Cache, seen a few good things mentioned about them.

That harddrive looks better, cheers. :)

I've already got a raptor lying about that i'm going to stick my games on.

Any alternatives to the RAM?

plus a 36 gig raptor, and squeezed into a L-L S80. Let's hope it's ok with the default cooler, can always get a better one at a later date.

The retail HSF will do for now hopefully, will a Thermalright Ultra 120 fit though I wonder?
