I have a Max of £550 to spend, so no going over that please.

This is what i was thinking;

I am planning on overclocking, though nothing too crazy. I was looking at the E21** range but i don't like the idea of relying just on the overclock to make it perform well? Hence why i went with the E6550, not sure if this was the right decision?

I do play games, but only occasionally (few hours every few days), id like to stick with that graphics card as it seems the best for money at the moment. I'm not too fussed about high resolutions as long as i can play the games!

Any views/suggestions?

Thanks (:

What am i likely to get it to before temps get high? (>65 on load?)

And what cooler would you suggest if i was to find the money for one o:?

You could go with the OCZ PC6400 on This Week Only as it will save a bit of cash for a cooler and changing the motherboard for the Gigabyte P35C DS3R would also save another £5. If you can afford it then a Tuniq Tower or Noctua NH-U12F would be good, if not the Arctic Freezer 7 Pro is decent enough on a budget. :)

//edit just realised that OCZ isn't still on special offer but it is cheaper anyway. You could pick the OcUK PC6400 if you really need to save cash.

I'l add the Tuniq Tower onto the spec then, £550 was just what i told myself not to spend over, extra £30 is worth it!

Thanks (:

Haha good way to look at it :D

Just one thing im worried about, is what ratios can use between cpu speed and ram speed?

Multiplier is 7, comes at 333FSB i think, 400 would get 2.8 and 450 would be 3.15 i think

Would the ram be able to take 450?
