Spec Check

Hi guys,

Need somthing futureproof for next 3 years.
Good gaming machine
Need to bridge a network connection as my xbox360 can be plugged into the pc using the internet connection (dont know if this is the best mboard for this)
Want a stable pc with minimal overclocking.
Ideally want to spend £900 but will push just above if its worth it.

This is my attempt, any suggestions...

I'd go with option #2, it offers 4gb Ram as 2x2gb and the motherboard is supposed to be quite promising. I would however change the DVDRW for a SATA model.

Right then done a few changes this is the final final final spec, any suggestions alterations....

I will be ordering this within the hour now....

You might find that you need to alter the voltages in the motherboards bios to get the system to boot with the OCZ Ram as apparantly it supplies less than what the Ram uses initially but that should be a fairly minor fix.

Also do you need the extra gigabit LAN card? The motherboard has gigabit LAN onboard I believe.

ok cheers semi, yeah i need to bridge the network connection as i plug my xbox 360 into the pc (my current mboard has 2 network ports)

get yourself a nice cpu cooler

tuniq tower maybe?

i think it fits the case, but best to check the measurements
