I've knocked this together and would like some opinions. Is the RAM overkill? Any recommendations on a cheaper mobo perhaps? Does the PSU have enough wattage? Haven't been on the scene for a while so not really sure what to go for. Thanks :)

Edit:

I've heard that fan is huge. Will it fit on the IP35 pro?

Thanks for your input. Why would you choose that over the IP35 pro? I've seen the pro recommended many times as she can hold her overclocks well.

I have the IP35, and it's a very good board, the only reason I can see to go P45 would be if you intended on running crossfire.

The p45 is a really pointless inbetweeny board it's getting as bad as nvidia graphics cards next we will have the p55 which won't run nehalem

Hehe :D

Well I think I'm going with the pro. It has great feed back from users so :)

Edit:

I think I'm going with the PC6400 black dragon. I won't be going over 3.7GHz so it would be pointless to get the PC8500 sticks.

Personally i would change the mobo to the p45 as they clock as good and if not better but the biggest benefit is the pci 2 slots they dont make much difference.
And it is newer tech.
Get that mobo as posted above and buy another fan for the 300.

OK thanks slash. I will consider that. I just can't find much info about it on the forum. I will have a better look :)

Any more opinions on which motherboard to get?

OK I've mixed it around again. I found the P5Q thread and it's clearly a lovely board so I'm going with that. I've gone with a slightly higher wattage PSU too.

Any suggestions before I order? Sorry to keep asking, I just want to make sure I'm getting best bang for buck :D That's £500 delivered.
