Hey guys,

Am new to the forums - hope it's okay to run this by you! Any criticism is much appreciated! Budget is 600-650 sterling.

Many thanks,

Will look for a modular psu, was wondering if the mobo is good (easy to upgrade onto) and all fits/is compatable? Will take a look at that gfx card when I get home.
Thanks a lot for your help so far guys.

So can you post an udated list cutters? I am looking at exactly the same system only with an E8500 as the processor. I am therefore looking at your post eagerly waiting for these guys reply's. Did you decide on a GPU only I like the saphire hd 4850 toxic but am open to suggestions....Looks good for the money though. ;)

Looks like the same card but more expensive to me!

One other thing I wanted to ask - is this motherboard suitable/easy for me to wack in another 4850+HDD within the next year?

here we are so far lads:

- Support ATI CrossFireXTM technology, up to Quad CrossFireX

Will be using XP on this PC. The motherboard does support xfire - was more a question of if the case was of an appropriate size and if the motherboard gpu connecters were well spaced! I will do - going to wait another day or two before I order just to make sure nobody finds any massive faults with it.

Yeah the one listed there is modular. The quad core for me I think - most of the games that i play are mmorpgs and not that intensive and sometimes I am running multiple clients as I am a Gamemaster thus having multiple cores for multi tasking seems the way to go for me. This spec seems to be my best bet and the one I am going to go for - will order from overclockers on wednesday. It's a shame I didn't find these forums sooner and didn't contribute my knowledge but the postage costs arn't that expensive ;).
