Spec check

My cousin is looking to upgrade from his Acorn/bbc lol (P4 3Ghz really)

He has about £400-500 to spend and doesn't need a monitor/kb/mouse/speakers, just the base unit.

I had a quick go and came up with this.

I couldn't find a reasonably priced motherboard so any suggestions here?

It needs to be able to run COD4 and WAW but not really any high res gaming.

I would suggest Asus P5Q Intel P45 (Socket 775) mobo, it should be in your budget, if you get the full £500 to spend

If you get the full £500 to spend I'd go for this

If you can get a little bit extra, go for the 4gb ram from OCZ
