Hi guys, first time using these forums, as I've normally got someone to advise me on what to buy. But this time I don't, so I thought I'd ask you guys =]

Also, I've seen a lot of people making these spec threads, so I'm assuming there's no problem with me doing so, or at least I hope there's not.

Is there anything you would change? I'm only looking to play the top games at a reasonable level, but the main game I play is CSS, so I'm not too bothered if it won't run FarCry2 on the highest settings. Although that would be nice.

Thanks in advance.

Have you considered going for an antec 300 case and putting the saved money and a little extra towards a faster graphics card, maby the ati 4850 512mb.

I was looking at the 4850, I'm not sure though, I am originally an Nvidia fanboy so to speak, it's what I've always used, but with all the praise that ATI are getting at the moment, I thought I'd give them ago.

I did also look at the Antec cases, but I didn't really pay much attention to the 300 as I prefer cases that "look good"... I know, It's better to have a case that cools better than looks, but I like things that slap you in the face with lights.

Oh, one more thing, I'm not good with PSU's and stuff, but is that PSU able to handle crossfire? Or would I be better off with my Hyper Type-R modular 580w?

For those who can't view the link I put up =]

My current system is pretty bad at the moment :P Which is why I'm going to upgrade. I'm useless when it comes to PC's really, I don't know much about what's what, I don't build my own either, My friend did my last PC, if you could help me out with what wattage I'm using at the moment then I'd be very greatful =]

Ok, so I tried to figure it out myself and It came up with 437w as the recommended. That's my current system which is still running on DDR ram lol

K m8 i'm going on the assumption that you already have an OS.

This spec computer would be good enough to play crysis on very high m8,It would handle any game you could throw at it :)

I know it's just creeping over the price you said,But with this computer you wouldn't have to upgrade for a while at least.

I put a duo on there,Is that what you was after?? or was you thinking of going for a quad??

Thanks paul, duo is fine, I'm not bothered about quad, I'll upgrade to that when the prices come down a little more =]

Your welcome m8 :)

Do you really require the Dominator RAM? The 4GB Corsair XMS2 PC2-6400 is half the price and is getting a lot of praise.

That ram is all well and good m8,But it does not seem to be on the p5q pro's qvl list.

Well i'm glad you mentioned it mate, I'm getting that board and the RAM I spec'd...although no one mentioned it in my spec thread.
