Hi Guys,

Basically my dads computer is ancient, well it's pretty old.

I was thinking about upgrading it for him, looking to spend about the £110 mark, I've put together what I think would be a good buy.

That mobo only has 2 RAM slots, so youll need 2x2Gb sticks, not 4x1Gb

that processor is awesome for the price though.

I've only gone for 2x 1 Gig of ram mate.

It's only going to be running XP so 2gb is fine imo.

Everything else alright?

I'd still go for a 2GB stick of RAM though if as its a cheap upgrade if you want another 2gigs done the line.

My dads only just got used to XP introducing him to vista won't be a great idea I think
