My friend is getting a new pc for xmas(Present from his missus).She is surprising him with the parts as he will have more fun building it himself but she is unsure what to get him.He is a bit of a gamer but nothing major.
The budget is around £700 tops.Everything is needed except a monitor.

What do you think to this.Please feel free to suggest anything better.He will probably OC a little.

I would have gone i5 for that money...

Check that for a £700 build. See what you think.

Edit: And that doesn't include Windows 7... so either increase your budget or reduce spending on parts... though from what I can see, you build isn't exactly bad.

He does need a new OS with the system.I was thinking about speccing an I5 for him but havent had time yet
