Hi Guys could u advise on this speck please,

AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 245 2.90GHz

Asus M3N78-VM Geforce 8200

graphics will be spare nvidia 7950xt
ram will be 2gb ddr2 6400
psu will be 450W

this system isn't for me but a friend and im unsure on the motherboard and processor, money is a big influence so the cheaper the better please

I also have a spare E6600 processor so this could be used instead of buying the AMD if a suitable motherboard could be suggested

uses will be light gaming 2142 and similer then interweb and general home use
 
What is the make/model of the RAM and PSU?

As for the CPU, its great.

Mobo is a bit old tech for £50. I would suggest looking for an Am3 board like this or this. You will need DDR3 RAM for this, but there isn't much of a price premium any more and it is faster.
