Hi guys, any bad bits to this build that you can see? Contemplating a 24" monitor, does the gfx have enough beef? I don't play too many games, but I might want to with a new build and a few games that are beyond my current rig!

Cheers

  • AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition "125W Edition" 3.20GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail

  • Asus M4A87TD Evo AMD 870 (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard

  • OCZ Gold 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 (1333MHz) Low-Voltage Dual Channel (OCZ3G1333LV4GK)

  • OCZ Vertex 2E 60GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive (OCZSSD2-2VTXE60G)

  • Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD502HJ)

  • HIS iCooler V ATI Radeon HD 5850 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

  • Corsair HX 650W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-650HXUK)

5850 would be fine for a 24" screen. Should max out virtually all games out there and get decent frame rates. Also they overclock well, up to 5870 sort of speeds.

Thanks guys. Not a serious gamer anymore, just want something that will let me play some games ive missed out on. thought the motherboard could only take 1333mhz ram...but if it can take higher then great.

Cheers
