My wonderful, lovely, adoring wife (she's sitting next to me!) has said she'll buy me a new pc for crimbo so I've been doing some window shopping and come up with this spec:
Radon Intel Core i5 760 2.80GHz @ 4.00GHz Overclocked Bundle
Asus GeForce GTX 460 Direct CU TOP 768MB GDDR5
Corsair CX 600W ATX Power Supply
We're on a bit of a budget so was wondering if my OCZ Stealth XStream 500w power supply and XFX GeForce 8800GT 1024mb that I'm running at the mo will be compatible with the bundle I've picked out or will I have no choice but to grovel that bit more and ask for the upgraded graphics and power too?
Lucky for me my birthday is in January so she's said I can have the rest then if I can get away with re using my older stuff for the time being
Any recommendations or improvements on what I've chosen, for a similar sort of price, I'm open to suggestions
