Are there any changes you would make to this?

I plan to buy a cpu/mobo/gpu later on in the year when I've saved up enough.

Good old fashioned way it seems seeing as the link is working.

Coolermaster CM-690 II Lite Dominator Case - Black
Thermaltake Frio CPU Cooler
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM
Samsung SH-S223C/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM

Spec checking a case, optical drive and hard drive? Really? :/

Wants to make sure s/he's getting the best for his/her money.

If you don't like it or think it's pointless just don't contribute.

Simples.

OP, looks good to me - nice HDD and case choice :p

I would save longer and not buy anything right now if you plan to only build later. Cases will get more ports , blueray drives will drop in price , hdd will get bigger for the same price point etc etc.

Bank the dosh and purchase it all when you can.

I'd prefer to buy the case now at least as cases don't really drop in price and in some cases go up; antec 300 for example.

I just wish overclockers could give free delivery to Northern Ireland then I wouldn't need to source some of those parts from other places.

When I come around to buying the more expensive parts I'll buy all of them from overclockers as I hear their customer service is great when it comes to faulty parts etc.

The 1TB hard drive is only a few pounds more.

Not knowing that much about coolers, but the Frio looks good. I would check the clearance for the case, but it looks quite roomy. Maybe some issues if you decide to add side extractor fans.

For the price, there don't seem to be a lot of choices, however stretch to around £90, and you have Fractal Design cases and the Lancool K62. The CM case looks good, I know there is a windowed version as well.

For optical drives, I'm a bit weary of Samsungs. I've had a few failures, so I tend to go with Sony. Maybe just luck in my case.

I would also resist the temptation and buy later when you can get everything together.

I don't really need a 1tb hard drive as I store most of my files on a separate computer so 1tb isn't really necessary.

Just to give an example, in my main computer I only have a 320gb(297) hard drive and I still have 180gb free.

I might get a ssd as a boot drive later on as well.
