I plan on getting a second 470, but there is no rush since I play at 1,680 x 1,050 and it isn't struggling at all yet. When I upgrade the GPU I will grab a Corsair AX850. I won't get an Ivy, It will be at least a Haswell before I upgrade again so the Gen 3 board seems silly for me.

Does this all seem wise, any suggestions?

looks pretty good to me, however, a couple of minor changes i'd make.

change the motherboard to the Asus P8Z68-V. it still does crossfire at x8/x8 speed, and it still does all the other Z68 features, but its a bit cheaper than the Asrock (nothing wrong wth the asrock though)

use the money you saved on the motherboard to get the thermalright silver arrow CPU cooler. it might not look as nice as the bequiet but its far better at cooling.
(if your going for the bequiet for the looks of it then go ahead, its still pretty good, but the thermalright is incredibly good)

Thanks Reaper,

I am a little embarrassed to admit that I am getting the be quiet for the looks. Too be honest I doubt I will overclock the CPU much more than 4.2 anyway and part of me wants the silver arrow but with buying the FT02 my desire to make it look shiny is winning.

Anyone have any thoughts about the PSU? I am a little nervous about it because it is 4 years old now. It has been good to me so far, has anything changed with cable requirements in the last 4 years or are there potential bad things that might happen?

i cant find any reviews of it anywhere. a new PSU will probably be more energy efficient so you might as well get one. one of these will be great:

80+ gold efficiency, modular and enough power if you decide to go SLI
