Hi all, going to be builidng a pc for my mate this week, he just wants a basic pc built around the i3 for around £400-£450. I have come up with the following build so just wanted it checking over.....

Intel i3

Corsair 4GB RAM

Samsung 128GB SSD

Samsung optical drive

Windows 7

£414 total... He doesnt need any peripherals :)

Thanks in advance... would love to use the bitfenix prodigy if anyone can get it in budget ;)

no graphics card?
128gb may be a bit anaemic if he wants to store any sort of media files

tbh, i dont think you could get a prodigy and an i3 in spec for what is essentially 370 quid after the os

That build looks alright, Ill have to ask him which he would prefer as I know the Bitfenix isn't the smallest of cases I just wanna build one :).... erm will have to check on the HDD

i do have to say though, the psu is non modular, so you'll just need to find areas where you can tuck the extra cables away
