Hi Guys,

Sorry to be a pain but after a spec check, i think its a pretty good spec but i may have overlooked something:

Asus z77 Maximus V Gene £154.99
i5 3570K £173.99
Artic Freezer 13 Pro Extreme £26.99
Crucial Ballistix Elite 8GB ddr3 128000 1600mhz 8-8-8-24 £49.99
Crucial M4 128GB £89.99
OCZ ZT 650w 80 Plus Bronze Modular PSU £69.99
MSI Geforce GTX 660 OC Twin Forza 2048MB incl Assasins Creed 3 £179.99

incl Deliver 757.92 (all OCUK obviously!!)

Any suggested changes to bring the price down but not impact performce.. i think the mobo is the best for the price and had an outstanding review in Custom PC a few issues back!

The GFX is the best for the budget i think...but maybe i am wrong?

Not sure about the cooler has anyone OC with one? if i can get to 4.2 stable with it then ill be happy but may buy Corsair H100 at a later date

All this will be wrapped in a re purposed Antec 900 Gaming Case (think its the first one) which i am going to mod the motherboard tray for cable managment and will be my first modding project (even if on a small scale.)

Thanks for the Suggestions guys and good to see home healthy debate, i guess i could have set the scene a little bit better, i am saving for a wedding but looking to invest a small amount in a machine that i can use for day to day but also for gaming. I do want to overclock the system and i do want to future proof it so that after the wedding (8 months time) when money should be more readily available i can splash out on a new card and perhaps even an i7 with water cooling. The reason i went for the Nvidia was the inclusion of Physixs....the Asus motherboard but thats purely due to the review in Custom PC and really i have always been an Asus fan boy when it comes to boards - had a bad experience with Asrock and previously Abit!

I guess really what i am after now is a bit of justification for the changes you have suggested? - thats not say that i dont value your opinion but i like to know and way up things...although not as bad as a friend of mine who wont buy food without looking at the value per gram!

I see quite a few people are selecting the Team Group Elite RAM.. not really heard about it and never used it... is it really good, i am quite happy to comprmise on price of ram for better performance.... but other than that i am thinking about using the Asus P8, Samsung SSD and the XFX Pro but sticking with the cooler and RAM that i selected and going with the 3570k and the 660

does anyone think i am making a mistake with that setup, and if so can they say why, have had a few other recomended setups on here which i appriciate but no one is really talking much about why they are making the changes...
