My brother's doing an upgrade to his system, this is his basket so far. He wants to go fully liquid cooled. He currently has a HAF X case, wondering if anybody has any advice to give?

You don't need the extra D5 bay res, as the V12 kit already comes with one

Besides that everything looks fine, wouldn't hurt to grab an extra meter of tubing and perhaps look at a better fan controller too.

I believe the V12 comes with 2 meters of tubing? which should be plenty.

Oh its also advisable to buy 2L of fluid, you probably won't use the other 1L bottle BUT if something does go wrong and you end up with a puddle somewhere you won't have anything to top up with.

Same reason I suggested a little extra tubing, you don't want to cut a section too short or route it wrong then find you don't have enough tube left over to sort it out.

I would go with either pastel red or x1 clear and add mayhems red dye. UV+red generally stains stuff pink quite badly (uv effect looks pinkish too)

PSU wattage is overkill unless he has another 7970 or 2 already?

I would get a scythe or lamptron fan controller.
