So apologies for the double posting - I have this going on in a separate thread. However it's gone past the 'should I?' now and is more 'what do I get? :D'.

As background, my current spec is

EVGA 780i FTW edition motherboard
EVGA GTS 250 (1gb) graphics card
4 GB OCZ Platinum Ram - DDR2
x6800 core 2 due extreme (2.93 ghz - oc'd to 3.2 ghz)
150 GB Raptor HD
320 GB Seagate Baracuda
1 TB Samsung Spinpoint F1 or F3 (not entirely sure)
Tagan 900W (I think) PSU
Windows 7 x64
Akasa Eclipse case
2 Optical drives - DVD ROM drive and DVD RW drive.

Thanks to the wonderful people in the other thread, I've come up with the below.

Would welcome thoughts please!

Would also like suggestions on the CPU cooler - the corsair one some people recommended seems good, but I don't want to mess around with water stuff at the moment (this is only my second ever build), even if it is closed loop.

Case is TBD. Will get help from people here/in Case Central once the spec is finalised.

Anything else I need? It will be used for gaming, but not too extensively (a few hours a week and more on the weekends). In particular, i'd like to be able to play the following, but not yet released games on full (which is impossible to say now, but a spec that should most likely be able to handle it would be good): Dragon Age III, Witcher 3. Monitor res is 1920 x 1200 (24").

I have OS, keyboard, mouse, monitor.

Thanks for that rapt0r. Looks good. I'm not planning to OC much, especially not initially, so mid range suits me. How's the noise? My current build is pretty noisy (mostly due to the PSU I think, speaking of which, how is the seasonic I picked in terms of noise?) so would like some quieter :)

Ethermaster - I do like silver! But not too concerned with colour matching the internals, especially not if it requires me to spend more :)

Re, the GFX card - not heard of KFA2 before. I quite like EVGA and their products have been very solid for me so don't mind spending a bit more for their reliability.

KFA is a great company based here in the UK so its RMA policy is wicked (same as Gigabytes), and the color doesn't really set you back that more considering I have fully loaded it with case and cooler :) its only a couple quid more and you don't have to get it all in 1 go.

The 212 is whisper quiet up until about 50% speed so shouldn't be a problem. I have a Corsair AX750 which is basically the same as the Seasonic X as they are the OEM for Corsair (still?), can't say I've ever heard the fan on mine so its silent running. The fan doesn't even start up it until it hits a set temp/load usage anyway so by that time its drowned out by the graphics card fan and other system fans.
