Will be getting a monitor, GFX card at a later date, and have an OS sorted

You don't need a powerful PSU like that unless you will be going Crossfire/SLI in the future.
Everything else looks okay, I'd get a 256GB Samsung Evo SSD instead however.

Do you need a aftermarket heatsink?

If you are going to get a larger air cooler then it would be better to get some low profile RAM so they don't conflict.

I would be better of getting an aftermarket heatsink, want one that is fairly priced and silent

What would you recommend.

And i want the option to SLI in the future, which is why i went for the Mobo i did, all the cheaper ones only have crossfire options.

thanks

Edit: I also bought the SSD when it was on offer for £97, so i already have that = )

Thanks oceaness, looking at the price on the 550W seasonic, i may just go for that and forget the SLI.

Another spanner in the works lol

No worries.

Incase you're wondering, the reason I suggested the Antec's for SLI is because they are Seasonic inside but they have four 6+2 pin PCIe connectors, the Seasonic only has two and most cards require two each :)

If you drop the SLI could save on the board perhaps too?

Thanks will look into them, i noticed the timings are much higher, will that make a difference ?

Partly balanced out by the higher speed that it is capable of, 2400MHz vs 2000MHz.

In the real world for the vast majority of games the difference between the two should be incredibly small. Unless you plan on running lots of memory benchmarks, and even then i doubt that there would be much of a difference between the 2.

I agree with ThaReaperGuy re the PSU.

This would be more than sufficient unless you want to SLI/Xfire in which case go for one of these Antecs.

If going SLI/Xfire, I'd stick with OP's PSU as it's cheaper and not just Seasonic Internals, but the whole thing! It's at a fantastic price.

I just meant you'd also then need 2 molex to PCIe connectors, as it doesn't have enough connectors with it for SLI/Xfire if you're cards take 2 connectors each. I thought the molex to PCIe adapters were generally not recommended?
