Moving from a i7 950 based system to a z97 / 4790k

I already have a Tri-x 290 and a SSD to move into the new build. The system will be used mainly for gaming but I do enjoy overclocking and a bit of benching.

New parts:

4790k once its released
Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H-BK Black Edition
EVGA SuperNova G2 850W
Avexir MPower Yellow Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17200C9 2133MHz
Corsair Hydro H105/h100i

Comes in around about 700 pounds. Can anyone do better for the money?

I know the PSU is totally overkill for a single 290, but I do plan on adding a second at some point. Will 850Ws and 70.8A be sufficient for two 290s? Either way I know a superflower unit, well made and at a good price, so will probably get it regardless.

Went for some color coordination, I think it would look ok. I do prefer red and black (was originally looking at the Hero VII), but obviously having a tri-x 290 in quite bright yellow kinda messes things up.

Any input would be grande!

Surely that BK edition board will be ok?

What case do you have? if it fits a H105 (which has a thicker radiator than normal) then get that as its less complicated than a H100i which I only discovered for myself is a pain in the rear end when used with Win8.1.

Or Antec do a suitable and simple all-in-one water cooler,

Hm yer, good point. I guess there isnt too much difference between the two.

Everything else looking ok? As for the PSU is it up to running two 290s or is it cutting it too close?

Unfortunately I have a Coolermaster HAF 922. Which is thoroughly awful but will have to do for the time being, I will be upgrading my case at some point. Just not at the same time as everything else.

The h100i fits in the 922, and Ive been told the 105 will as well. Not 100% sure on the 105 though.

I think it will fit, there appears to be a ton of room between the top of a motherboard and the roof of a HAF922.

Yer there is a chunk of room once you remove the massive fan at the top.

Cant wait to get this built, my old 950 is struggling hard now.

Thanks for the help!
