Hi there,
Been a while since I spec'd a PC for myself, Currently got a 4 year old system I built consisting of an i7 4790k but the machine has a NVidia 1080 in it that I'll move into the new PC when end up building it.
This is the first attempt at this system spec, I mainly play games on my current rig and I'll be looking to do the same on the new one. The main questions I had was around the CPU and memory. Is it worth getting the new i9 range of cpu's or is the current i7 more than enough? What memory is a good match for this? Also when the hell did the prices rocket up for hardware?
