Hi,

Meant to buy a new rig last year but as always happens, something came up that swallowed the money. Anyhow, I'd be grateful for opinions / suggested changes on the following spec I've created using OC's system builder pages (will get OCs techies to build it too).

Comes in at 1744 pounds inc VAT.

Thanks in advance for any responses:

altered sdd for a smaller one and added better amd card

any spec can be custom built and overclocked for you by OC, phone or email for price, good luck and will get you a great pc for budget tbh

Is there a particular email address I need to send an order to?

Can you tell me how you generate the style of lists you replied to me with please - so I can produce the same when I email my order.

Thanks.

Hi everyone, just after some advise on ordering. I sent an email to overclockers listing the components and asking for them to build it. A fellow replied asking for me to email him to confirm which I did. Since then, nothing!

Tried ringing their sales line but after 10 mins on hold that got too tedious.

Anyone any suggestions of how to proceed, otherwise I may go elsewhere to get a build done (can't wait forever) - which will be a shame as I've heard nothing but good things about OCs.

You're expecting an answer at 21:47? Customer service is good....but not that good :p

He he :)

No, I sent the request just under a week ago and then another 2 days later. And heard nothing since. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for your help and advice.

Finally got through on the phone. The fellow I spoke to was very helpful and the system build is now under way. They even discounted some as my initial order had been delayed, which I considered a nice touch. Should arrive some time next week which is fine.

Overall am impressed with their service so far. Hopefully the rig will be as good. :) Thanks again Zakblood and Cloudstomp for your help.

Just a quick note to report my new rig arrived. It's very impressive, both in terms of performance (demolishes everything I've thrown at it so far) and build quiality (how do OC builders manage to arrange those cables so neatly?). I'll certainly recomment OC to anyone requiring a new PC.
