spec comparison

i don't know anything about laptops except avoid celeron or anything about AMD's past S939. so which is best and why? uses are going to be basically for internet but may inlude games such as sims 3,

the specs i've seen are:

Intel Pentium Dual Core T4400 2.2GHz
4GB RAM
250GB HDD
15.6" WXGA

or

AMD Dual Core Athlon X2 QL-66 2.2GHz (compared to intel?)
2GB RAM (not as good i know - bigger is better)
320GB
15.6" HD LED (what is it?)

or


Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz
1GB DDR2 RAM
160GB
11.6" SuperBright Non-Gloss HD LED Display (1366x768)


i know the prices and all are around the £400 budget mark but i am clueless. Is windows 7 so good it needs to have it as one comes with XP?

In short the T4400 is aprrox 25% faster than the QL-66 and the QL-66 is twice as fast as the N280.

If you will be gaming then get the lappy with the best graphics card your budget allows.
