Looking to spend £600 on a new build for casual gaming. Not wanting to spend any more than this as I'll continue to use my macbook for general use.

I already have and will re-use OS, Monitor, HDD, Optical drive, KB and mouse.

Looks like the TJ08-E isn't available yet (a couple of places show it as possibly being in stock within the next couple of weeks). Really like the look of this case and want something fairly compact and quiet that will still provide adequate cooling.

Any thoughts?

I'd quite like to add an after market cooler in the hope it'd be a bit quieter than the retail HSF. Given I'm already on the limit of my budget it would need to be something that isn't too expensive. Interested to research whether the Gelid Tranquilo would fit in this case.

the CPU cooler can be up to 165mm tall in that case, so pretty much everything from OcUK will fit

rest of the build looks great assuming your after a small form factor build

If its for casual gaming I'd drop the 8GB of RAM to 4GB and get a 6870.
Still get your games and it will perform a little better.

Given how cheap memory is it'd be rude not to stick with 8GB. My intention was in the future if I needed a little more graphics powers to add in a second 6850... although the price difference between a 6850 and 6870 seems less than when I looked a few weeks ago so it is probably worth making that change.

For context, my last PC was an AMD X2 3800+ with a 7600gt going back quite a few years. I bought it to play TES: Oblivion and then sold it a few years ago. I've managed without a PC for a while but plan to use this to play Skyrim which I've pre-ordered.
