Ok I am needing to upgrade and build a new rig, the main uses are for xvid encoding, hdtv video output and huge media storage. The bits i can re use are...

Coolermaster Black 201
Western Digital Raptor 74Gb
Samsung Sata 250gb
17" TFT
Mouse
Keyboard

I have lots of hd content that I want to output to a 42" plasma tv and thats the only thing the gfx card will be put to use for. So mainly a media rig with grunt for encoding. Got a £1000 budget give or take.
