Just had a mate ask me to spec him a pc so I thought i'd pop over here and ask you guys for some advice. He's got about £1500 to spend and is looking for specs similar to the following (copy and paste from his email):
dual core amd processor pref 5000+
2 to 4 gb of ram (pref 900 mhz)
200 gb + hard disk
titanium or any cool looking tower case one pref that has flap to open and shut off sound card at front)
creative labs audigy xfidelity xtreme sound card ( for recording has remote)
geforce 7900gt or 7950 gt graphics card ( sli config if poss)
20" widescreen monitor ( bigger if poss)
5.1 to 7.1 surround sound ( remote if poss)
tv card built in with remote
dvd re writer decent speed
xp media centre with remote if poss
logitech cordless keyboard and mouse
wifi built in in possible with mem card reader alos built in
if you have any other idea would be great
