Also if you can spec me a HSF, and any other cooling, i have a pci card fan, and also some akasa ambers. and a Akasa Eclipse case :)

HDD wise i have two IDE's that make up 1/2 TB, so a raptor?

Software wise, i need Vista too in there :)

if you want to save money you can drop to 2gb of ram, drop the sound card as onboard works, change cpu to a cheaper one but these are elegedly all gonna be good stepping if you are an overclocker

forgot to add a 520w psu would be good enough i speced that as it will be more future proof for the sake of a few quid. nobody knows really to be more sure get this m8

Ultra is a waste of money, got you quad core, or you could probably get core 2 duo and 4gig of ram, your choice tbh.

For gaming i reckon its better to get 4GB of RAM than a Quad Core with a budget of 1k seeing as RAM is so cheap, so something like a high end duel core, 4gb RAM & a GTX.
