Hello, this is for a friend who needs a complete setup

Intended usage is 3ds max, photoshop and the odd game or 2

My friends a uni student like my self and is looking for a desktop computer but of course it needs to be as cheap as possible, overclocking is an option. here is the spec i am going to recomend but want to know if you guys can make it any lower in cost or beter performance for less :P

system i have in mind for my friend is:

Intel Core I5 750
Saphire 5770
viewsonic 22" lcd monitor
Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3 Intel P55
OCZ Gold 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Corsair H50-1
Antec Basiq Plus 550W Modular Power Supply
Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB SATA-II
Coolermaster Elite 335 Case
Microsoft Black Value Pack 3.0
Sony Optiarc AD-5240S 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter
Logitech S-220 2.1 Speaker System

all in all that comes to £903 rounded off which is quite high for a student :P

what would be a better alternative? I3 could be a sollution but not sure how they compare to the I5 in such programs mentioned at begining of the post.

ty :)

don't see anything wrong with it no idea what the value pack it but I can google it :p

I would get him I5 means his budget allows him to, doing uni work and such, I3 is core 2 duos replacement if you wanna look at it like that
