Spec for a PC to play Football Manager?

Hi all,

Odd request but my best mate wants a PC to play games like Football manager.

He has around £500 budget. Uses a 1080p monitor. Wants a case that looks cool with maybe a couple of LEDs in it.

I said I would build for him and order all the parts etc.

Storage. SSD maybe 500GB for that and OS.
RAM. 16GB is the norm these days?
CPU. I've always had Intel but to keep it cheap AMD?
GPU. I was thinking something like a Geforce 1660ti?
Case. Open to suggestions?
Cooler. No overclocking but something that maybe has an LED?

Anyone who can make me a bundle I'd be very grateful.

Gpu and cpu availability is a nightmare at the moment and a 1660 super is half your budget, It mite be worth looking at a 9400f but budget is tight.

Won't this run on just about anything? Maybe onboard graphics would even be ok?

Specs from Steam. You can run it on just about anything, so a question to ask them is what else they want to be doing with their PC and what other more intensive games do they wish to play on it.

AMD build would probably be a preferrable but stock is hard to get hold of, this would chew up FM;

You have no video output device there. The 10400F has no iGPU
