Hi,

I Was wondering if this was a good spec for ~£500, and is it possible to have a simular spec for cheaper. I already have windows 7 to put on it and It will be on a 720p screen.

I've changed all the things you've recommended, cheers.
Is there any ways to make it cheaper, like can the CPU be downgraded? , and how much is it if I over clock myself without the bundle?

Can save £20 buying the components individually

Intel Core i3 530 2.93GHz (Clarkdale) (Socket LGA1156) - Retail £76.36 (£64.99)
Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2 Intel H55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard £59.98 (£51.05)
Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) Ultra Low-Voltage DDR3 12800C9 (1600MHz) Dual Channel (KHX1600C9D3LK2/4GX) £58.74 (£49.99)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU Cooler (Socket 939 / AM2 / AM3 / 775 / 1156 / 1366) £18.99 (£16.16)
Total : £214.07

Alternatively you could go AMD and actually get a quad coreCPU

AMD Athlon II X4 Quad Core 630 2.80GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail £70.49 (£59.99)
Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H AMD 880G (Socket AM3) microATX DDR3 Motherboard £69.99 (£59.57)
Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) Ultra Low-Voltage DDR3 12800C9 (1600MHz) Dual Channel (KHX1600C9D3LK2/4GX) £58.74 (£49.99)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU Cooler (Socket 939 / AM2 / AM3 / 775 / 1156 / 1366) £18.99 (£16.16)
Total : £218.21

Yeah agree with 95thrifles, I think the AMD Quad Core be a better option at that price, later on down the line could pop a hex core if and when it starts to slow.

Yeah I was thinking of AMD, but i wouldn’t know what Motherboard etc. to use, but since you have provided with the correct stuff i probably will. also, will AMD overclock as well as Intel?

And this is the basket ATM;
