Spec for friend

HI guys,

Looking to spec my mate a new PC.

He will be buying bits over 3 months,

For now hes looking at getting the CPU, motherboard, ram and maybe PSU if budget allows.

He is looking to spend around £300 on this.

He uses

dreamweaver,
fireworks,
cs4 master suite,
audio recording software
A little video editing and the odd game.

I'm thinking a quad core would be best?

I'm a bit out of touch at the moment and do not know what AMD's current CPU's are like.

He will overclock a little, but not to the extent that a aftermarket cooler needs fitting etc.

ask again in 3 months, prices are changing too much these days so any spec will be outdated by then (budget wise)
