I've outgrown my DS211J NAS box, both drives are full and I think they're not fantastic value for money considering you can't really be adding drives afterwards :p and using the laptop these days as the media PC doesn't seem so practical. Basically looking for something for the following :

  • NAS, initially with 2 or 3 2tb drives but need space for future upgrades (or when HDDs are cheaper ;)) 2TB Seagate SATA3 drives cost around £80 here (same prices as UK really, but no VAT on PC stuff here...)
  • Won't have issues playing back 1080p/720p etc. content
  • Running as Sabnzbd/CouchPotato/Sickbeard/DC++ etc box

I haven't got a set budget but I guess I'd like to stay around £200 ex. VAT if possible (not including HDDs , of course!)
 
Thanks, unfortunately I'm not in the UK so would probably need to build something from scratch - components here (Malaysia) are pretty much the same price as UK but at least there's no 20% VAT on top!
