He has £960 plus or minus 100. He has a monitor, mouse, OS and keyboard.
He will be playing dota2 for now but plans to play recently released game at atleast high (maybe not ultra) settings (bf4, titanfall etc). Would prefer nvidia and intel. Looking for longevity with future upgrade potential if possible.
Thanks guys.

Thanks stulid, my cousin is gonna make the purchase pretty soon so I was wondering if you or anyone else has any suggestions or if any of the deals have changed. Why the 2 1TB drives instead of 1x2TB?

slightly overbudget and didn't spec a hdd unfortunately =x
but in return, you get a nice case, a 4790k, colour matched red/black...
...and freebies too: watchdogs from the gpu, grid autosport from the cpu, and a nice headset from the mobo
mobo supports sli and the psu has enough wattage for the 2nd gpu
hdd space can always be added on later ;p

ps: must the gpu be nvidia, cuz the equivalent amd (290) costs £100 less (ie would be in budget and can get a hdd straight away)

Tweaked the spec a bit.

Now includes the faster GPU and a case that will take it. The HDD cage is removable (just unscrew where necessary), and doing so would allow you to fit a second Sapphire Tri-X OC in future. The SSD and HDD could go into the 5.25" bays if you do this, with a cheap adapter. Or they can sit on the floor in a single or dual caddy with a bit of modding.

Different RAM that's on offer with cool LEDs to match mobo and case.

Looking for longevity with future upgrade potential if possible.

And for only £14 extra in total, a quality PSU with 10-year warranty. The Seasonic M12II EVO is a good PSU for a good price but some models have very noisy fans. You'll avoid the risk by going for the EVGA G2.
