Hi there,

Thinking of buying a system for games and use as my main system. I was thinking of getting the 2140 and overclocking it. Also getting the 8800GT but would I get this all under budget? Ill be using it for photoshop and flash mostly. would there be much difference there with quad?

I got a spec together but I was wondering what everyone else thought. I don't need windows.

was also wondering would I need CPU paste?

Thanks

edit// also don't need a monitor.

I made this earlier today, how's it look for your needs?:

Most coolers come with some heatsink sauce but it never hurts to have an extra tube handy in case you need to remove it for any reason.

EDIT: I like this one even more. Can you stretch the extra 13?:

450w, wouldn't that be pushing it with an 8800GT?

I always thought you'd be better with 500w. Also, how well does the Freezer Pro perform? Probably not as good as the Tuniq Tower I'm guessing?

Thanks.

Thats pretty much what I had, but I've just realised there is no PSU :( Love that case too.

Rats!

BRB.

The 450 W PSU should be just fine. The outervision PSU calculator predicts a maximum draw of less than 300W. Neither the CPU nor the GPU are particularly hungry.
