Hi
After much deliberating (again) have decided to sell my 2014 MacBook Pro.

At the moment I'm looking to replace with an MSI Laptop with a 970m. Cost of this would be £1200.

Before I decide to get the laptop I was wondering if somebody could spec me a PC for £1200 for gaming.

My current PC is dying & I could poss only salvage the BluRay writer. Even the case needs replacing. I do have a 1080p monitor though.

Graphics are my highest priority.

Regards

Cheers for the help. Why an i5 processor & not an i7. To make it fit my price or better for gaming. Will also be doing some video editing, will the i5 be sufficient?

Never used a water cooling system, how easy are they to install?

Any way to increase the size of the SSD whilst still hitting price of performance of this build?

I went for the i5 as I assumed it was for gaming, and is a fair bit cheaper than an i7 :)

Water coolers are really easy to fit and "can" be quieter than a air cooler.

The Crucial is fine for an OS drive and a few games, as you stated GPU was a priority l fired most of the cash that way, dropping to a GTX 980/970 would allow for a larger SSD and possibly an i7.

Cheers for the help. Will look at the configuration in more detail
