Hello.
I am after some advice/guidance on a pc build please This is my first PC build but have been fixing PC's and desktop support for 10+ years. I have been gaming on consoles for years newest is the PS4 which is fantastic but would like to try PC gaming. I have been looking through the various posts and have had a play around with bundle deals and offers and have come up with the below spec.
YOUR BASKET
1 x Samsung U28D590 28" 4K 60Hz 1ms Gaming Widescreen LED Monitor - Black **OcUK Exclusive** £449.99
1 x Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 7 - Devils Canyon Core i7 4790K CPU & Motherboard Bundle **£43 Saving** £331.98
2 x Powercolor Radeon R9 290 PCS+ OC 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE AMD 8GB 2400MHz Memory Kit £299.99 (£599.98)
1 x SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 1000W Fully Modular "80 Plus Platinum" Power Supply - Black £149.99
1 x Kingston HyperX 3K SSD 240GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Drive (SH103S3/240G) £99.98
1 x Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case - Black (CC-9011030-WW) £98.95
1 x Corsair Hydro H105 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (CW-9060016-WW ) £89.99
1 x CM Storm Sniper Elite Gamer Peripheral Bundle £64.99
1 x Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST2000DM001) HDD £54.98
Total : £1,940.83 (includes shipping : ).
I would like to try 4k as I cant justify buying a 4K tv yet (and really want to have something with 4k unless a 144hz gaming monitor would be better and can be convinced)
I wouldnt like to go over £2500 for the build.
Would the spec also allow for another 290 in the future if its needed? I.e is the powersupply chosen ok, is the case big enough and not cause to much heat etc......?
Thanks for looking and lok forward to some advice.
P.s I did spec the R9 295x as it looks like a nice bit of kit but I could buy 3 r9 290's for the price of one 295 and think I would gain more from the 3 290's than the 295x.
