I'm speccing a bit of an upgrade to my current setup and going the mATX route since I don't have much space to put it. So far I have come up with:

Case:
Antec Black Mini P180 mATX Case

CPU:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (overclocked to 3Ghz)

Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R mATX Motherboard

CPU Cooler:
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro

Memory:
OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4

GFX Card:
EVGA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB KO GDDR3

PSU:
Seasonic 500W S12 PSU (from current setup)

Hard Drives:
Hitachi T7K250 (from current setup)
WD Raptor 36GB (from current setup)

Which for the new bits and pieces comes to about £500 total.

I'd welcome any suggestions on the above, but I also have a few questions:

1) I'm planning to reuse my Seasonic 500W S12 power supply from a couple of years ago, will it deal ok with this setup? Is it generally a bad idea to put in a used PSU to a new setup?

2) I have about £100 left in my budget but not sure what this should go on.

I don't want to go for SLi, and suspect my new case might not have enough space for some of the more powerful GFX cards (heat might also be an issue). Also I want to stick with mATX.

What should I spend this on to get the most out of my new setup (which will mainly be for gaming)?

I second the 4 gig of ram

You so also want this board http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-257-AS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=326 i was eyeing it for ages to do the same thing, but my student loan ran out a bit too fast :(

as an extra thought you could spend a little extra on a 512mb gts

Hmm not sure about that motherboard. Saw a couple of threads on the SFF board about it not being worth the hassle and extra cost. General consensus there is that the Gigabyte one is a better deal.

Dont bother with the guarentted to clock to XGhz if thats what that means

Nah, I was just going to get a stock one and overclock it myself.

Is an overclocked GT roughly the same speed as a stock GTS? Will there be much difference in terms of fps at 1680 x 1050? Thanks.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Decided to up the spec a little in the end, so going for 4gb memory and getting a BFG 8800GTS 512MB instead of the GT.

Can't wait!
