Spec help please

Hi all,

What would you recommend for my build. Already have an Asus x1950 Pro and need the following

case
psu
motherboard
cpu
ram
>= 250gig

Need all this for under £400 if possible. The owner will almost certainly not be overclocking. The rig is mainly to be used for photo manipulation.

Added a cheapo vid card, even though u didnt mention that was needed, but ideally if it is, you could do with a bigger budget for a better card.

All parts you listed (minus that vid card) would be under your budget...

Its not top of the range, but i've still got a few FSP psu's going here after years of use.

They are cheap but reliable, hence why i choose that one and its ATX 2.0.

Oh yeah, oops about the 1950, i did read it then forgot straight away *sigh*, now i know i'm getting old....

If you take the card out the spec, you could get a better PSU.....

what psu would you recommend?

And how does the ASrock compare? Ive got a S939 ASrock and tbh it sucks
