Spec help please!

Here's my current setup, I'm after something that gives equivalent performance with 100% reliability:

AMD64 3000+ Winchester
Abit AV8 3rd Eye
Mushkin L2V2 2x512
XFX 6800 128 AGP
Barracuda 7200.7

I'm happy with the system performance (not really much of a gamer), but I've broken the SATA connectors on the mobo which is causing BSOD/random freezing. Of course if I could find a decent AGP/939 board I'd pick that up, but want something new for the sake of guarantee.

Assuming I could keep the RAM and get a 320GB 7200.10 HDD, what mobo/CPU/GFX combo would give me at least equal performance for the lowest possible price? I don't want to go down the route of B-grade/Clearance having had probs in the past.

I really just want a PCI-E/SATA-II setup that'll be as good as my current PCI/AGP/IDE machine. I have no idea what's better than what at the moment, and no real time to get into it because I'm a student ages behind on my dissertation
