Hi guys,
I've got the privilege of doing a project for a friend with a rather healthy budget. He wanted a full loop and a white and orange colour scheme.
So far my picking look like:
YOUR BASKET
1 x EVGA GeForce Titan X 12288MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (12G-P4-2990) £899.99
1 x Asus PG278Q ROG Swift 27" G-Sync 144Hz Gaming Widescreen LED Slim Bezel Monitor - Black/Red £619.99
1 x Asus Z97 Gryphon Armor - Devils Canyon Core i7 4790K CPU & Micro ATX Motherboard Bundle **£15 Saving** £405.94
1 x SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 1200W Fully Modular "80 Plus Platinum" Power Supply - White £191.99
1 x EK Water Blocks EK-D5 Vario X-RES 140 (incl. pump) £107.99
1 x Kingston HyperX Fury White 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-14900C10 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit (HX318C10FWK2/16) £99.95
1 x EK Water Blocks EK-FC Titan X - Acetal+Nickel £89.99
1 x Phanteks Enthoo Evolv Micro ATX Case - White £79.99
2 x XSPC AX240 Dual Fan Radiator - White £74.95 (£149.90)
1 x EK Water Blocks EK-Supremacy EVO - Nickel (Original CSQ) £52.99
1 x EK Water Blocks EK-FC Titan X Backplate - Nickel £26.99
4 x Parvum Systems F1.0 Performance Pressure Optimised Fan - White £11.99 (£47.96)
1 x EK Water Blocks EK-Ekoolant Pastel ORANGE (concentrate 250mL) £11.99
3 x E22 Ultra Clear 12/10 Hard Acrylic Tubing 500mm Length £4.99 (£14.97)
Total : £2,800.62 (includes shipping : ).
I have a few questions. My preference for the parvum fans was because they fit the scheme spot on and they are rather sexy - has anyone tried them? Are they any good? Addtionally I wanted to know if that pump/res will fit the build ok, or do I need the slightly smaller version?
Second I know the white rads are a tad pricey but they will really look the nuts once in place. I want to attempt (as this will be my first time water cooling) to use acrylic tubing. Can someone help me spec up some acrylic tubing and the correct fittings for it. I'm not 100% sure the fittings I was looking at are for hard tubing.
I will start to sketch my loop and get some help / opinions on it once the spec is complete and I know for sure what parts I'm going with. Many thanks guys!
