I'm soon going to be building a new PC, It's actually my first build so hopefully I won't have any problems putting it together... It's going to be used for commercial game development, web design and gaming.
I've generally been using whatever PCs work has been supplying so most of the time I'm unsure what I'm even using hence me not knowing all that much about hardware so if I say/price anything stupid please correct me.
I have £1500 (£1550 absolute max) to build a decent one, including monitor (preferably 24", not TN) and a requirement that it's very quiet.
Something like that, but I'm open to any suggestions... so long as they're going to be as quiet as possible.
At home my personal PC this is going to replace is a AMD 64 3500+ with 768MB RAM and a nVidia 6200, so hopefully this will be a big improvement
