Looking at the options of either getting a new iMac or a PC. Have about £1600 to spend. The PC would need a monitor (preferably 24") and mouse (G9 please) but no keyboard or speakers. Would need an OS. Has been a while since I built my last PC, so am slightly out of touch. I would be really grateful if someone could spec me a system for about £1500. I could build it myself, I did so last time.
The alternative is a top spec iMac with 4850 for £1580 with HE discount, convince me that a PC is a reasonable idea instead!
Would be used for image processing, usual stuff and some gaming as well. i7 would be good if it can be done for that price.
