(Spec) Laptop £400

Hi all,

Can anyone spec me a Laptop £400 (inc vat) the laptop will be used for viewing the web, music, word processing , spreadsheets , database etc, a few games (not graphic intensive)

Looking for:

Built in wireless
1 GIG or more RAM
A decent processor

brand new, £400 isnt going to get you much tbh. you're looking at a dells at this price range.

very doubtful you'll get a core duo (or even c2d) for that price, wireless will be pretty much standard on any decent laptop these days.

You won't get any graphics for £400 though. It'll do Half-Life 1 (one) but not much more... I paid £650 for my laptop with an X700 in it, which plays HL2 on almost full graphics.
