Spec me £1000 max

Hey guys

I was wondering if anyone can help spec me an i7 build.

I've never done a i7 build before hence my need to ask

The budget it £1000

I need everything in the base system so the case, cd drives, hard disk, motherboard, ram, processor, cooler, PSU

Everything but not monitor or keyboard etc

the first one has an SSD and the second one just SLi right? not sure if the SLi is needed but thanks for the help

Well my cousin just wants it for gaming so black ops at the moment and then video editting etc

But, like mentioned by Stulid get the £42.00 Samsung which runs at 7200rpm, thought that Ocuk reduced the price!!!

I like both RJC and Stulid's builds but would go for Stulids between the two of them.

Would only change the 6870 for the 5870 tbh.

Much more bang for buck....
