spec me £1000 pc

ok budget is £1000,used for gaming plus video encoding etc.
its going in a switch 810 with a custom water loop,i have win7 64,monitor,mouse keyboard,and dvd drive and sata HDD.so that leaves the budget for Motherboard,CPU,ram,PSU,SSD and graphics card...
i have been looking at the 2011 socket and ivy so ill see what you pr0's can come up with.

looking good but tbh i think ill stick with getting a 7850 really good cards
and stulid wont be needing a cooler it will be under water

The PSU is letting it down.

Stick to Corsair/XFX/Antec etc.

And swap out the board for a MSI/Gigabyte.

Think it's just a customer service thing. Most people prefer Gigabyte to Asus.

Never had a problem with Asus. So never had to deal with their customer service.
Will be buying a Z77 Sabretooth, as my next upgrade.

Have read nothing but good reviews.

for GPU: 680 or 7970.

7970 overclocks like a monster & runs very cool thanks to the 28nm tech so it most probabley will superpass the 680 if you're willing to overclock. i'm not sure how well the 680 overclocks however you'll have to research that.
