im upgrading my PC, im currently looking at:

CPU: Opteron 170
M/BOARD: DFI LanParty ULTRA-D
RAM: Mushkin 2GB DDR XP4000 XP
GFX: PowerColor ATI 1900XT
HDD: Western Digital Caviar SE 200GB
CASE & COOLING: Swiftech 'Ultra' WC Kit & Saprano Case
PSU: Hiper Type R 580W

Total: £1,340.87

my problem is i only have £1,127.92 to spend.... any ideas how i can get that price down with out hurting the spec too much

PS: the water cooling stays, though you can advise on a better value for money one.

scraping the water and going with a Freezer 64 Pro would put me at about £1200

£1,165.85

going with the G.Skill 2GB DDR HZ PC4000 would also save me another £35. but i think i can afford the extra £40 over budget and stick with the mushkin

thats with stock cooling.... guess il get it home, test some clocks and decide on some aftermarket cooling at a later date....

thanx for all the advise
