Bit of background, currently run 2 pcs, the slower of the 2 is getting painfully slow now (Athlon X2 S939), so going to build a new "main" pc so the current (Q6600, 8gb ram, GTX460) can be relegated to replace the Athlon.
Pretty much want to play Eve online with multiple clients (4 clients or so), as well as the latest FPS games, such as Bad Company 2 (not that new I know, but want to be ready for BF3) etc.
Going to recycle my 24" TFT and X64 Win 7 Home Prem, which saves a bit of cash.
Budget: ~£1050
Prices listed below are approx:
Comes to around £100 under budget. There is probably a couple of places I could free up some more cash in the spec above, so any pointers would be great. Also, the extra cash would cover a new 24 port gigabit switch for my network after my last switch died, so it would be put to good use.
Will most likely order all this to come on thurs/friday ready for building at the weekend/early next week, any pointers would be much appreciated to ensure I'm not doing something totally wrong. Thanks in advance.
