Just booked cheap (£10 return) flights for me and a mate to Dublin when we finish our last uni exam. Staying here - http://www.globetrottersdublin.com/

Only going to have 24 hours in Dublin itself, a part from getting merry in the pubs, anything we should not miss?

Midweek btw, Monday-Tuesday.

Cheers!

Er Temple Bar then Copperface Jacks...one of the few places where the girls seem perfectly happy to grab you and haul you off into a dark corner of the club... :p :D

dublin castle, guiness brewery, temple bar, grafton street (molly malone statue at the start), connolly st, then find a few nice bars and get merry ;) oh, try the wax museum, it's hilarious -me and a friend got stuck in a tunnel aimed for children, and had to use our phone torches to get out - it's actually well worth a look.

more importantly, who are you flying with and from where, and on what dates? :D

*goes to look at roster*

Go to Heuston station and get on the train to Galway. It takes 3 hours. That leaves you 18 hours in Galway. Plenty of time!

Dublin is rubbish craic now. It's full of the English.

Dublin isn't the place it used to be, but Galway sucks monkeys too.

LOL @ what someone said about copperface jacks aka slapperface jacks - if you want the easiest place to pull in Dublin - go there.

When are you flying over?

Galway is a million times better than Dublin, or at least it was when I was last there about three years ago. Believe it or not, Belfast is fast becoming the capital of craic for Ireland nowadays.

Hey Scuzi, only flown to STN twice and not at all to Luton! Coming out of STN we change freq like a million times in 5 mins so am never sure if its you or not haha.

Hey Stu, aye its been a while. My rosters not out for May yet, I should find out this Friday, but I fly BHX-DUB quite a lot.

Was up in Belfast a couple of weeks ago for a couple of nights and just didn't enjoy it that much :( Galways not as good as it used to be either!

Kilkenny is the craic capital of Ireland imho - going there in 2 weeks for the comedy weekend :D

Kilkenny is much better, and also slapperfaces is full of Garda and Nurses, thats where they all go.
