Hi

Looking to go Eyefinity/Surround depending on what Gcard i get, looking at a 670/680 at the moment.

5760x1080 on 24inch, looking at spending around £140/150 for each monitor what do you recommend ? or am i gimping looks/performance in that price range.

I have already a LG Flatron w2361v that does 1920x1080 maybe i could incorporate that ?

Any help or general info would be greatly appreciated as all this is new to me

Regards

If you're going for eyefinity you generally want 3 matching monitors, so you could buy two more LG w2361v's.. if you can find them. Seems to be EOL.
Or..
You could wait for the weekly sales to include the IIyama Prolite E2473HDS 24" which is a great gaming monitor. The 670 is also more or less EOL btw, to be replaced by the 660ti. With the latest generation NVIDIA you should be good just hooking them up using DVI/HDMI. If you go for an older NVIDIA card.. I don't know. With AMD cards you'll need one active displayport to DVI or HDMI converter as the screen doesn't come with a displayport connection.

NVIDIA is marketing it as -the- card to get to enjoy everything maxed out at Full HD and that's pretty much what it does. With a triple monitor setup you'll need to turn down some settings.
But don't take my word for it, listen to Linus ;)
